Book Bonanza 2023 Ticket Information 

Book Bonanza Tickets cost $250 plus $8 fee. Tickets include entry to all official Book Bonanza events, including lunch Friday and Saturday, a swag bag, an event T -shirt, and a cupcake! 

Tickets are electronic, you will not receive a physical ticket. 

Tickets go on sale at noon CDT, September 15, 2022 at (the site is not live yet). Showclix is the ticket company and your ticket integrates with our Book Bonanza app (available in Google and Apple stores).  

You will enter a waiting room queue at noon and once you begin the ticket purchase process, you have 5 minutes to complete the sale. Your ticket(s) will be held for 5 minutes only. (The maximum number of tickets you can purchase is 2 per transaction.) You will receive a link to the Book Bonanza hotel block in your receipt. Please do not share the link with anyone. 

You will be asked for your top 3 BB23 authors, T-shirt size, food allergies, name, address, email, and cell phone number for each ticket purchase. We will ask what name you want on your badge and if you want to add your pronouns. Please have this information ready and a different name and email address for each ticket holder. 

We will accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Paypal is not accepted. 

We will offer a payment plan that is through Showclix. There is not an additional fee to set up a payment plan but there are restrictions. The ticket is divided into four equal payments of $64.50 due on 9/15, 10/15, 11/15, and 12/15. You can not pay it off early and you must pay it off before you can resell it – which means you can’t resell it until at least 12/15. You will put a credit card on file at the time of purchase and automatic payments will be drafted on each payment date. If your card is declined, you will be given the chance to rectify the problem but if payment isn’t made in the defined time, you forfeit the ticket and payments up to $129. If you have paid 3 payments at $193.50, you’d get $64.50 returned. 

You can purchase up to two tickets per transaction. You will be given five minutes to complete the transaction and your ticket(s) will be held during this time. Please put the name for each ticket holder on each ticket – you will have a chance to update the name on the ticket until May 1, 2023 at a cost of $25 per name change. (This info could change – we will clarify asap)

Reselling your ticket 

If you are unable to attend BB23, you can resell your ticket through our partner Lyte. This is the only way to transfer or sell a ticket to someone else. You can sell directly to someone using Lyte’s Private Exchange or to someone on the waiting list through Lyte’s Fan Exchange. The buyer of your ticket will pay the $25 Lyte fee. You will not be reimbursed for your original $8 fee. Tickets can be resold until May 1, 2023.

Buying a resale ticket

Once we are sold out, tickets will be available through a secondary market through our partner, Lyte. Do NOT try to purchase a ticket directly from anyone – they will not be valid. You can buy from a friend through Lyte’s Private Exchange or through the Book Bonanza Fan Exchange that utilizes a waiting list process. Both the Private Exchange and the Fan Exchange will charge a $25 service fee per ticket in addition to the $250 ticket price. This process guarantees authenticity of tickets, cancels the original ticket and reissues the buyer a new valid ticket. Payment plans are not available for resale tickets purchased
